They knew it was bad, but not this bad. The BBC reported this week that the country Jordon has blocked access to over fifty websites on computers in government offices. What are the statistics like in Canada? I feel that many of us go on the Internet during work mainly to sift through emails and complete important tasks (banking, applications etc). It might be worthwhile to have limited access to the web so that certain things can be done at the workplace. Just a suggestion =)
I have heard a lot that employers banned use of some websites to their employees, mainly for two reasons: first: because they waste working time and another because through social networking websites it is much easier to enter into computer and net and to crush the entire system of the company which none of the companies wants to allow.
